Below we summarize the plan for the submission of fall 2023 data to the Registrar’s office for CLAS.
The Registrar’s office will collect course data details in the following order:
- Sections with a cap of 75+* – CLAS will send data starting 12/13-12/30
- It is especially important to ensure that data related to enrollment capacities, days and times, and class instructors if they will be teaching large classes back-to-back (particularly at peak times) are listed accurately in BMS.
- CLAS may reach out to units to confirm scheduling, as necessary.
- Sections under a cap of 75 – early February.
- Final deadline for any changes – first week of March.
* This includes courses that will be combined for a total 75+ (eg. LLAS with 40 seats combined with HIST 50 seats).
Helpful Tips:
- Please make sure to review the modality notification we sent out to ensure modes are listed correctly (attached)
- The Registrar’s Office has rolled over their data for Fall 2023, so you can review the PeopleSoft compare at any point
- Review the Combined Sections Comparison report within BMS to verify there is no days/time difference for any of your combined sections
